Passed away on November 28, 2025 due to complications from hydrocephalus. She had a liver that was 4x the normal size and this impacted her ability to breathe and was her cause of death. Liver issues are common with hydrocephalus.
***Indefinite Medical Hold*** Fiona is now as big as she is going to get. She received a new diagnosis of dwarfism along with her hydrocephalus. She continues to have hydrocephaly flare-ups. She is the size of a 6-month-old puppy and weighs 10 pounds. She remains on medical hold as we work through her medical needs. She is smart, sassy, very active, and bossy! She's got the best personality! ***Fiona is on an indefinite medical hold due to her hydrocephalus and dwarfism. When/IF she is ever ready for adoption - and we don't know when that might be - she will be available to local (DFW, TX) candidates only, no exceptions.*** More about FionaGood with Dogs, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Does Good in the Car, Does not require a yard, Likes to play with toys, Prefers cool climate, Prefers warm climate, Needs special care, Playful, Intelligent
